Ingrideints
1. Rice -1cup
2. Ghee -2tbsp
3. Sugar -1/2cup
4. Cloves -2
5. Dal chini -1/2inch piece
6. Water -1/4cup
7. Almonds -5-8
8. Cashews -5-8
9. Resins -5-8
10.Pistachio 5-8
11.Coconut -2tsp chopped
12.Saffrons -few strings devolved in 1tbsp milk
Method
1. First rinse basmati rice in water for 3-4times and soak in water for 25mins.
Boil rice with 2cups of water in a pan over medium flame until almost cooked 90% .
2. Transfer it to colander and drain water completely .Keep them aside until required.
3. Take heavy based pan with lid. Add ghee heat it over low flame and add cinnamon cloves then saute. Then add green cardamons.
4. Add sugar and 1/4cup of water. Mix and cook a minute
5. Add dissolved saffrons mixture and cardamom powder.
6. Stir and cook until sugar dissolves for approx 1-2mins.
7. After sugar dissolves, bring a boil over medium flame. It will take around a minute then add cooked rice and dry fruits.
8. Reduce flame to low and cover it with a lid. Cook until almost all moisture is evaporated.
9. Turn off flame and serve it.
