Ingrideints :


  • Milk -1ltr
  • Saffron -few strings 
  • Almonds -10 chopped 
  • Sugar -2tbsp


Method :

1. To blanch almonds add into boiling hot water and let them sit for 20 mins. Then discard the water,peel the skin and slice them. 
2. Take milk in a wide, heavy bottom pan on medium heat. Once it starts boiling lower the heat to medium low. 
3. As soon as the cream layers is formed on top, collect the spatula to the side of the pan. Keep collecting and sticking the cream layers till it reaches 1/3 of its original volume. It will take 45 mins. 
3.You have to stir occasionally to make sure that it's not sticking to bottom. But don't stir often otherwise the cream layer will not form on the top rather it will disintereste into the milk. 
4. Once the milk is thick add sugar and saffron. 
5.Again cool and keep collecting the cream for 5 mins.
6. Then scrap off all the cream from the sides of the pan and gently mix. 
7. Add sliced almonds and turn off the flame.
8. Serve it warm or chilled.
